Terms and Conditions for Ario Leasing and Rental

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the lease and rental of vehicles provided by Ario Leasing. By renting or leasing a vehicle from Ario Leasing, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, do not proceed with the rental or lease.

Vehicle Use

  • Permitted Use: The vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with local laws. The lessee/renter agrees to use the vehicle exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes unless otherwise specified in the agreement.
  • Prohibited Use: The vehicle may not be used for any illegal activities, racing, off-roading, or for carrying hazardous materials.

Rental and Lease Period

  • Rental Period: The rental period begins when the vehicle is picked up and ends when it is returned to Ario Leasing. Late returns may result in additional charges.
  • Lease Period: The lease period is specified in the lease agreement and is subject to early termination or extension as agreed upon by both parties.

Payment Terms

  • Rental Payment: Rental fees are due at the time of rental or as specified in the agreement. Payment is due in full for the agreed rental period.
  • Lease Payment: Lease payments are due monthly as outlined in the lease agreement. A late payment fee may apply if payment is not received on time.
  • Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit may be required for both rentals and leases, depending on the vehicle type and terms of the agreement. The deposit will be refunded upon the safe return of the vehicle, minus any applicable charges for damage, late return, or fuel costs.

Insurance

  • Insurance Coverage: Ario Leasing offers basic insurance coverage with all rentals and leases. Customers may opt for additional coverage for a fee. Customers are responsible for any damage or loss of the vehicle not covered by insurance.
  • Liability: The renter/lessee is liable for damages or theft of the vehicle, including third-party damages, unless covered by an approved insurance policy.

Maintenance and Repairs

  • Routine Maintenance: Ario Leasing will maintain the vehicle in good working condition. The customer is responsible for basic maintenance (e.g., checking oil, tire pressure) during the rental/lease period.
  • Repairs: If the vehicle requires repairs due to mechanical failure not caused by the customer, Ario Leasing will handle the repairs at no cost. If the customer is responsible for damages, they will be liable for the cost of repairs.

Fuel

  • Fuel Policy: The vehicle must be returned with the same level of fuel as when it was rented or leased. A refueling fee will apply if the vehicle is returned with insufficient fuel.
  • Fuel Charges: If the customer uses the vehicle for more than the included mileage, additional charges will apply as per the rental or lease agreement.

Mileage

  • Daily Mileage: For rentals, a daily mileage limit is included in the rental fee. Additional miles will incur an extra charge.
  • Lease Mileage: For leases, mileage limits are specified in the lease agreement. Exceeding the agreed-upon mileage limit will result in additional charges.

Cancellation and Modifications

  • Rental Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the rental pickup time to avoid cancellation fees.
  • Lease Cancellatio: Lease cancellations are subject to the terms outlined in the lease agreement, including any early termination fees or penalties.

Driver Requirements

  • Eligibility: Renters and lessees must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license and a major credit card. Certain vehicles may have a higher age requirement.
  • Additional Drivers: Additional drivers must be authorized by Ario Leasing and meet the same requirements as the primary driver.

Vehicle Return

  • Return Location: Vehicles must be returned to the agreed-upon location at the end of the rental or lease period. A drop-off fee may apply if the vehicle is returned to a different location.
  • Condition of Vehicle: The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when it was rented or leased. Customers are responsible for cleaning the vehicle before returning.

Liability and Indemnification

  • Damage to Vehicle: The renter/lessee is liable for any damages to the vehicle during the rental/lease period, including damages caused by third parties.
  • Indemnification: The renter/lessee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ario Leasing from any claims, losses, or damages arising from the use of the vehicle.

Dispute Resolution

  • Damage to Vehicle: Any disputes arising from this Agreement will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with local laws and regulations.

Privacy Policy

  • Ario Leasing respects your privacy and will not share your personal information with third parties except as required by law or to process the rental/lease transaction.

Governing Law

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.

Modifications

  • Ario Leasing reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the customer prior to rental/lease.
